This Waltz is also often called « The minute Waltz ». This title was given by Chopin’s Publisher, as he had found it was a very short piece.
However this title was not ever given by Chopin who didn’t like it.
Chopin himself called it the « Waltz of the little dog », as he meant to describe a dog spinning around, trying to catch its tail.
